God of the Trees
Nathanael Reed,
Meditations on the trees of the Bible to help you become like a "tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth fruit..."Ps. 1:3
For countless generations, romantics
have compared the wonders of nature
to those they love...
Solomon wrote, “As a lily among
brambles, so is my love...”.
William Shakespeare: “Shall I compare thee
to a summer’s day?”
Robbie Burns: “O my Luve’s like a red, red rose.”
So it should come as no surprise that the Designer of nature draws out many lessons from His creation to help us learn more about His own love and power. Come take a delightful stroll through the Bible and discover how even trees show us that—in good times and in seasons of drought— the God of the trees is ever present, making provision to nourish our roots and flourish our fruit.
