Agnes MacDonald Alma Turnbull

$6.50

In Zambia, Agnes MacDonald assimilated the language of the people among whom she was called to labor.

Agnes MacDonald trained in Canada as a Registered Nurse. In Zambia, she assimilated the language of the people among whom she was called to labor. She also learned consequential spiritual lessons in the school of God. Forced to return to Canada for critical health problems, she soon volunteered her services at Everyday Publications and facilitated the distribution of thousands of books about the Bible. These went not only to her beloved Africa, but to many other peoples as well.

But once a missionary always a missionary. Agnes' heart was soon inclined to confront a still greater challenge. She went to Pakistan and learned the truly arduous Urdu Language. Then north to the Balti tribe in the Himalayan mountains! Another speech, another culture, in an extreme climate!

The work she assisted in it proceeding, with souls saved. But the Lord called this exceptional servant to His side, to higher service. It is fitting that her good friend, Alma Turnbull, should accumulate the material for this book, that those who read may praise the Lord for what He did in and through Agnes MacDonald. All the glory is His!

Alma Turnbull

Alma Turnbull joined the ministry of EPI as a commended worker in 1981 and for years faithfully dedicated her typesetting and bookkeeping skills until the office moved from Scarborough to Port Colborne. Alma was not able to make the move but continues to contribute from her home office with the computer composition of pages for print. This is a tedious but very vital part of the work.
