Galatians: Liberty in Christ

The worst slavery is bondage to Satan and his false teachers. The debt was paid by the Lord Jesus Christ. Galatians is necessary for a clear understanding of the gospel.
Saul of Tarsus learned thoroughly the law of Moses in the classes of the great rabbi Gamaliel of Jerusalem. Then he met the risen Christ on the Road to Damascus. Later he learned that salvation is by faith alone, not by the works of the law.
Paul more than any New Testament writer defended this grand truth, and his letter to the Galatians is a good example.
Today everyone wants liberty -- to do as they please. Some nations desire to help other people to have more liberty. The worst slavery is bondage to Satan and his false teachers. Every religion says, Do (this or that) and you will be saved. The Bible says, it has all been done, the debt is paid, by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Robert Henry Sykes was born in Michigan and served in the business world for many years. He and his wife, Wilma, were commissioned by their home church in Grand Rapids for missionary work in Angola. Now living in Montana, Bob Sykes is busy in a Bible teaching and church planting ministry.
