It has been my pleasure, a gift from the Savior, to record in books a few thoughts on the Lord Jesus Christ. In one I gathered references to Christ in the Old Testament, in other, those in the New.

The present effort brings together the Bible verses about God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. The purpose is to glorify the Lord and build up the saints. I would suggest that you read only a little at a time, and be sure to look up each verse in your Bible.

Throughout this book, my aim is to give a verse from the Bible for everything said about the Father, the Son and the Spirit. Scripture is our only authority. These Bible references are listed at the end of the book in Biblical order. Each reference shows the number of a paragraph in the book. These numbers are marked with a # for verses about the Father, a ¶ for those concerning the Son, and * for those about the Spirit. (Often there are several paragraphs under one number).

There are at the end three lists: one shows the verses referred to in the first part about the Father. The second list gives the verses concerning the Son. The third list gives the vers- es about the Holy Spirit.
